Pet ownership is a serious commitment that should be taken only by those who really mean to take care of an animal for the rest of its natural life.
This is because, taking care of a pet equals taking care of a child. A pet is like a child because it cannot hustle for itself. One has to make sure that it has a surplus supply of feed just like one would do with a child.
Roaming pets
Many are the times i come across roaming pets and am left thinking to myself who the owners of those pets could be.
There are reasons attributed to pets roaming around and such include; Subjection to hunger and thirst, abandonment by owners and improper housing.
Exercise responsibility
It is not an easy decision keeping a pet at home because that becomes double parenting. This is because you have to ensure a balance of attention between your kids and your pets. So it is important to have made a firm decision that you are ready to take maximum care of that pet.
