During this cold season, you will see people dressing in all sorts of warm clothes; cardigans, jackets, socks, gloves, headscarfs. You name them. We all want to keep warm so we do not contract diseases related to cold. Or rather not feel uncomfortable, because cold can make you uncomfortable.
Freezing temperatures and record amounts of snow can be tough on humans. Those signs of winter also make life difficult for many animals.
But what are we doing for our animals? Did you know that the cold weather can also take a toll on animals? If you did not know, Now you do. You have had an experience of animals literally coughing or sneezing. That is the effect of cold.
Animals however react differently to cold weather. They can either adopt a strategy to deal with the change or flee to warmer temperatures elsewhere.
