People of the Chinese origin consider dog meat a delicacy but this type of meat maybe a sumptuous meal to other people.
Three Chinese arrested
Three people of the Chinese origin were yesterday arrested in Kilimani area, after being found in possession of a live tortoise, ivory pieces.
The same victims were found to be selling dog meat, which is against the Kenyan law. Among them was also a Kenyan.
Police Raid
The four were arrested after KWS officers and police officers raided this particular premises. They confiscated contraband stuff like cigarettes and alcoholic drinks.
Two ivory tusks , a rhino horn and wildlife trophies were also recovered.
Justice for the animals
We can only hope that the culprits will be brought to book, as it is against the animal act, to poach animals for selfish gains, and feed humans with dog meat against their will.
